Descendants of
William London
(Father of James Pinkney London)
***I have relatively recently
uncovered a book by Opal London Cox.
Written in 1976, this book, available
by subscription at
Ancestry.com
seems to connect William London (born perhaps 1840) to 5-6 generations
of Londons further back!

1 William London b. ?Missouri or Kentucky
Please note: The preceding outline tree is derived from the Opal Cox London book, with some extrapolation, and assumption of correctness on my part. I have not been able to independently verify this as of this date (3/13/2005)...dlc
Also, the last 5 persons in the '7th' generation (Bud, Charlie, Roll, Wash, and Willie Elliott) are NOT from the Opal Cox book, but rather from previous information (the James P. London Bible). It is likely that Willie is William, the brother of J.P. London, but it has also been said that there was a sister of J.P. perhaps named Wilma who was called Willie...3/13/05 - dlc
